He&#8217;d enter the old time fiddle competition at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, take second or third place, and go home with a shiny new fiddle. This year <a href=\"http:\/\/wvfest.com\/news\/2016-walnut-valley-old-time-fiddle-championships\" target=\"_blank\">he goofed and took first<\/a>. It will be five years before he can enter the fiddle competition again.<span id='easy-footnote-1-24112' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='http:\/\/shuffly.net\/zoop\/oops-3\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-24112' title='First-place winners of any competition at Winfield are barred from entering that particular competition for five years.
