He was pretty good, sometimes very good. If you&amp;#8217;ve never listened to &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Hunky-Dory-David-Bowie\/dp\/B0106UFKDK\/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Hunky Dory&lt;\/a&gt;&lt;\/em&gt;&lt;\/strong&gt;, check it out. But I never mooned over him the way critics did.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span> It&#8217;s a shame, because <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dan_Hicks_(singer)\" target=\"_blank\">Hicks<\/a> was to me the more enjoyable artist and much more fun to listen to. In 1951 it was a hit for Rosemary Clooney, who hated it.
