That&#8217;s what I am asking myself.<br \/>\nWhether it be more or less dignified to put up with<br \/>\nThe barbs and darts of brash Luck, or to use weapons<br \/>\nAgainst distress&#8217;s oceans, to stop them from happening.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>More Shakespeare, sorta: <a href=\"http:\/\/animekritik.wordpress.com\/2012\/01\/03\/the-secret-history-of-darkwood-interstella-5555\/\" target=\"_blank\">What is the connection between <strong><em>Interstella 5555<\/em><\/strong> and the House of Percy<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>There supposedly is a genre of <em>iyashikei<\/em>, or &#8220;healing,&#8221; anime, such as <i><b>Aria<\/b><\/i> or <i><b>Ikoku Meiro no Croisee<\/b><\/i>. I find most such productions irritatingly bland, rather than soothing or refreshing. ((The only example of the genre I find rewatchable is <strong><em>Someday&#8217;s Dreamers<\/em><\/strong>, which has a serious story underlying all the niceness.)) If you seek therapeutic anime, <a href=\"http:\/\/suburbanbanshee.wordpress.com\/2012\/01\/14\/moretsu-space-pirates\/\" target=\"_blank\">the works of Tatsuo Sato are much more effective<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A rewatch of <i><b>Nadesico<\/b><\/i> helped me get through the first few days of living with a broken arm, and <i><b>Shingu<\/b><\/i> was good for a flu and high fever.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Update<\/strong>: I just watched the second episode of <strong><em>Mouretsu Pirates<\/em><\/strong>. It looks like it&#8217;s going to be at least as good as <strong><em>Nadesico<\/em><\/strong>.
