I&#8217;m less enthused by the philosophy, though \u2014\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pretentiouslatintitle.wordpress.com\/2013\/07\/06\/late-night-dodecaphony\/\" target=\"_blank\">Josh calls it &#8220;rank nominalism.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I experimented with some highly-simplified twelve tone techniques some years back. The results were not pretty.
