That orchestration was used by Michel Fokine for the ballet <i><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Le_Spectre_de_la_rose\" target=\"_blank\">Le Spectre de la Rose<\/a><\/i>.<span id='easy-footnote-1-189149' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/shuffly.net\/zoop\/tune-of-the-day-185\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-189149' title='While &lt;i&gt;Le Spectre de la Rose&lt;\/i&gt; was a landmark in the history of ballet, it is also just a wee bit ridiculous. A century ago, one of my aunts attended a performance with her boyfriend.
