There may be an occasional trivial post, but don&#8217;t expect anything more. I&#8217;ll probably be back around the middle of December. Until then, here are a few links of interest.<\/p>\n<p>I would have thought that <a href=\"http:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/2008\/11\/25\/which-is-more-important\/\">this was obviously true<\/a>, but apparently it isn&#8217;t clear to some people. Further discussion <a href=\"http:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/2008\/11\/26\/i-still-think-its-more-important\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/texasbestgrok.mu.nu\/archives\/278389.php\">Fred Kiesche discovers <strong><em>Ghost in the Shell<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. His reaction reminds me of mine to <strong><em>Serial Experiments Lain<\/em><\/strong> the first time I watched it. (<strong><em>Lain<\/em><\/strong>, by the way, was first broadcast ten years ago this summer, so I think it&#8217;s old enough to officially call a classic.)<\/p>\n<p>Back in February, I had other things on my mind than following the otakusphere. Consequently, I missed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.concretebadger.net\/blog\/2008\/02\/10\/epic-fail-the-worst-anime-ever\/\">Martin&#8217;s survey of the worst anime has to offer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thenullset.wordpress.com\/2008\/11\/29\/winter-2008-%E2%80%93-2009-anime-preview-and-watchlist\/\">Here&#8217;s a preview of this winter&#8217;s new series<\/a>. A couple might be worth checking out. <strong><em>Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou<\/em><\/strong> is a continuation of what was probably the best show of the summer, and <strong><em>Kemeno no Sou-ja Erin<\/em><\/strong> is based on novels by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.animenewsnetwork.com\/encyclopedia\/people.php?id=57471\">Nahoko Uehashi<\/a>, who wrote the books <strong><em>Seirei no Moribito<\/em><\/strong> was based on.
