How funny to see that second one when our house is full of people with colds, and we’re passing around a bottle of echinacea supplement. Your version is certainly prettier than ours. I wonder how practical it would be to grow one’s own, or whether extracting the compound is more trouble than it’s worth.
Echinacea species are often recommended as being to be easy to grow, but I have no experience with them. Most are not as attactive as the one pictured. I have no idea how much work it would be extract the medicinal component.
