I’ve liked all of these but this is the best yet. Whose hands? And where did the bird come from?
The hands belong to the lady whose garden I was visiting. I didn’t see where she found the bird. It flew off shortly afterwards.
—Don
My hands. As Don and I were speaking my cat (known as The Rat) caught this finch. She was in the breezeway with the bird captured in her mouth, I startled her and she released the bird. I was able to scoop up the bird.
I set it down on the rock wall and it took off! I was very happy.
The cat has her bell collar back on. She slips it off every so often.
