The Kwanzan (or “Kanzan”) cherry (Prunus serrulata) was at peak bloom today at the botanical garden.
While I was at the garden, I snapped a few pictures of the indoor succulent collection which might be of interest to some. In the picture below, the plant at right with the shiny dark leaves is Aeonium “Dark Rose” There are also three kinds of jade plants in the picture: “Gollum,” left; Crassula ovata, ((or C. argentea)) center; and, variegated, upper right.
