Worst anime reviews
Charles Solomon sweeps places one through four with his comments on Divergence Eve, Divergence Eve: Misaki Chronicles, Haibane Renmei and Someday’s Dreamers at amazon.com.
I haven’t found anyone else with Solomon’s combination of arrogance and superficiality, but this review of Noir‘s first disc is lame enough for fifth place.

Solomon’s approach to reviewing is arrogant and stupid. Maybe it’s the Haibane fanboy in me talking here but as far as I can tell his views really are ill-informed, arrogant and stupid. I know I watched Noir absolutely ages ago but even to my inexperienced eyes it was actually really good.
On the plus side, whenever I think I’m making a lousy job of being an anime reviewer I only have to look at his writing to remind myself I could be doing so much worse! Thanks for giving me a laugh after such a tough week. ^_^
It’s always easy to call someone arrogant and stupid when their views don’t match up with yours. Personally though, I actually agree with his Haibane review. The show just left me completely bored and disinterested. I can totally understand why others may like it, but that doesn’t make it any less dull for me.

Yes, Solomon needs to be hooked up to a car battery by the gonads. I’ve posted a couple of outraged responses to his reviews.
My favorite final episode:
School Days
Heh.
Well, Toren, it was at least memorable.
