Linum perenne puts on a good show when the neighborhood cats haven’t flattened it.
If you prefer purple, there’s Allium christophii.
The hardy succulent Talinum (or Phemeranthus) parviflorum is more of a curiosity than a bedding plant, though it would work well in a rock garden. As the species name indicates, the flowers are small, and they open for just a few hours in the evening.
Other visitors to the garden are less destructive than cats.
