Last spring, a friend who lives near the Mississippi in Illinois e-mailed me a copy of the local weather radar…..it was picking up an enormous outbreak (hatch?) of mayflies.
So there are real things that might be worse than “smoke.”
Why smoke? Are there wild fires around Wichita?
More likely farmers burning off the stubble in their fields.
Make sure to take pictures if you get a rain of oobleck. I’ll really want to see that.
