And I bet the 4th of July starts in mid-May…
I vaguely understand Christmas starting early (though not that early.) There is some planning involved for a big family holiday.
But St Patty’s day? Buy beer, buy one green thing to wear. They could set up on the day before and be plenty early.
It’s a side effect of the way that the rate of expansion of the universe is accelerating. As the rate of expansion increases, holidays come earlier and earlier each year.
