US copyright law is stupid. Case in point: Girls und Panzer‘s eighth episode is missing about a minute in its Crunchyroll version. Unless you download a fansub, you are going to miss this 1938 song, the highlight of the episode.

And besides, they should’ve used “Three Tankers”. Oh wait, the Three kicked samurai butt in that song. Neeever miiiind.
That video is disturbingly charming. I wonder if the producers of that anime used the absurd premise of high-school girls fighting mock battles in WWII-era tanks simply and solely to set up that Crowning Moment of Awesome.
