Spring sprang

It finally stopped raining here, and I was able to visit the botanical garden today. Here are a few of the pictures I took.

THere were no blooms left on the Okame cherry and the Yoshino cherry had passed its peak. There were still flowers left on the latter to photograph, though.

The very double Kwanzan cherry usually blooms two or more weeks later than the single varieties, but this year all flowering trees are rushing the schedule.

The place was lousy with kids and tulips. I took a few pictures of the latter.
