Lines, straightish and broken

I recently learned that one of my favorite cartoonists, George Booth, died last year. Here’s a selection of his cartoons to remember him by. Click on them to see them larger.

While looking for more information on Booth, I discovered that Ed Koren, another favorite, also died recently. Koren lived in an alien milieu and many of his cartoons don’t work for me. The ones that do, though, work quite well indeed.

(There are other cartoons of both that I’d like to include. However, I discovered too late that when I moved here, several boxes of books apparently didn’t make it off the moving van, including some with further volumes of Booth and Koren. Grrr.)
