While the subject is roses, Charles Hill found a sort of remix with better sound of an old, spooky favorite song, “Sally Go ‘Round the Roses.”
I first heard the tune as done by Pentangle, whose version remains another of my favorites. Yeah, John Renbourn isn’t much of a singer, but that doesn’t matter so much when he can play guitar like that.
