The Echinofossulocactus (or Stenocactus) seedings I started a couple of years ago are starting to look brainy.

The Neofinetia (or Vanda) falcata continues blooming. Although the flowers are the main interest, the leaves are stiff and pointed enough to draw blood if the plants are handled carelessly.

Puncture-resistant tubes for bicycle tires are effective against Tribulus and Cenchrus. However, they’re vulnerable to inch-long steel screws, such as the one I found in the rear tire yesterday.
